With the launch of Dynamics 365, it has become very clear that CSP is the hero licensing program for Microsoft. Dynamics partners will need to become CSP partners to continue servicing their customers. These are 10 reasons why a Dynamics partners should partner with rhipe for CSP

2. Min. Silver Competency is required to receive CSA Incentive:

This requires US$100,000 revenue threshold and at least 3 customer references, to claim CSA incentives for CRM online, and Gold ERP competency to claim CSA incentive for Dynamics AX. If you have not met the revenue requirement, CSP is the way to go.
3. SMB Sales and Customer Service App promo only available through CSP
The US$40 (AU$50.90) /user/month Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition Sales App SMB and US$65 (AU$82.80)/user/month Sales and Customer Service, Enterprise edition SMB promo are only available through CSP. Customers who purchase directly from Microsoft will need to pay the full price of US$95. If you are a CRM Online partner targeting mainly SMB customers, you need to sell Sales App through CSP to get the discount.
4. Dynamics 365 Business Edition only available through CSP:
Dynamics 365 Business Edition Finances App, as well as future Sales and Marketing apps and plans, will only be available through CSP and not other Microsoft volume licensing channels. By becoming a CSP partner, a NAV/SL/GP partner will be well positioned to sell both on-prem and online solutions to customers.
5. 40% Discount for ERP SMB On-prem to Dynamics 365 Business Edition for Financials:
Microsoft is offering 40% discount to existing NAV, GP and SL on-premise customers when they transition to Dynamics 365 for financials through CSP. The offer is available starting from Nov 1st onwards for cloud add-on and from SA SKUs. So even if your primary focus is selling NAV/SL/GP on Prem, becoming a CSP partner means that you are ready when the customer is ready to transition to the cloud.
6. 40% Discount CRM & AX On-Prem to Dynamics 365:
Existing CRM on-premise and AX On-premise customers will receive at least 40% discount when they move from the On-premise licenses to Dynamics 365. This is available through EA, MPSA, and CSP.
7. Dual use rights of Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition SKUs:
Like existing online Dynamics licenses, Dynamics 365 Enterprise edition licenses purchased through EA, MPSA or CSP will have dual use rights. As your customers' trusted advisor, you can help by giving them the flexibility to decide when and at what pace they want to move to the cloud when you sell them Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition SKUs. Do note that Dynamics 365 Business Edition SKUs are available for use online only.
