After months of preparation, rhipe has finally announced our partnership with DocuSign, the pioneer and global standard for Digital Transaction Management (DTM) and eSignatures.
A lot of effort has put in by both parties behind the scene to make this happen. Different teams – Program Operations, Support, Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement etc. from both companies have collaborated very closely in the past two months so that service providers can have the best experience when acquiring all of the information and support they need when they resell DocuSign through rhipe. It was a great experience working with different teams internally and with teams in DocuSign.
Everyone really wants to make the rhipe DocuSign distribution partnership – the first in Asia and first in ANZ for DocuSign standard editions – a success right from the beginning!
I am very excited about the rhipe DocuSign partnership, as DocuSign is really the missing piece in many of our customers’ cloud and digital transformation strategies. While many customers have moved to the cloud using Office 365 and Dynamics 365, they continue to suffer from a paper problem as they still rely heavily on paper transactions.
For every legal document such as a sales order, NDA, account opening, contract etc, companies' still go through the process of creating a document with Word, sending the document to the signer through a courier, waiting for the document to be signed and couriered back. After finally receiving the signed document, the customer still needs to store and archive the physical copy manually or scan and archive the document if he has a document management system. The entire process is unreliable, labor-intensive, and costly. In this time and age that we can provision a cloud resource and tenant within seconds, why should we still bear with the mundane, unreliable, and inefficient process?
DocuSign comes in and solves the problem that is severely hindering your customers’ digital transformation journey. DocuSign is the market leader in eSignature and digital transaction platforms. It is secure and easy to use. It offers tight integration with Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook and Dynamics 365 CRM. The signing initiator launches the signing request easily from within the applications he/she uses, whether it is Word, Outlook or SharePoint Online. The signer can sign on with the device he/ she loves, whether is an iPhone, Android or PC, anytime, anywhere within seconds. It is so simple that the signing can be completed within seconds!
You might ask: “Really? So simple? Is it legal?”. The answer is Yes. Many countries already have comprehensive eSignature laws, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries. eSignature is legal in general business use and is court-admissible. Generally, like a paper signature, an eSignature cannot be denied legal effect or enforceability as long as it is proven that the signer has the intention to sign, an associated record is kept reflecting the process by which the signature was created, "Consent to Do Business Electronically" is established and the electronic signature record. More details about the legality of eSignature in your country can be found at https://www.docusign.com.au/how-it-works/legality/global
DocuSign is really a tool that all rhipe resellers can sell to all their customers because it will benefit all businesses and will differentiate our partners from their competitors. Quoting Chris Sharp, Chief Strategy Officer at rhipe: “This (DocuSign) partnership will arm our service providers with the ability to offer a cutting edge seamless and digital process that will help APAC businesses focus on their clients as opposed to chasing and managing paperwork.”
DocuSign is also offering a 30 Day Free Trial to all rhipe partners. So I encourage you to go and discover the power of DocuSign yourself. For further details on DocuSign, please click here, speak to me or your rhipe account manager.
