rhipe launched their Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program in Indonesia in July 2016, and in less than eight months, recorded an outstanding 81% year on year (YoY) growth in Microsoft revenue (as at March 2017) and an increase in transacting partners in Indonesia of 89%.
Taking advantage of rhipe’s CSP program in early 2017, GITS Consulting have also recorded an impressive growth in their customer base of approximately 50% and offer Microsoft Azure, and Office 365 in addition to Microsoft Dynamics, as well as hardware and infrastructure services.

From the outset, rhipe consultants worked closely with the GITS team to understand their business strategy and the needs of their SMB market, and helped GITS Consulting to setup their Microsoft Azure and Dynamics environment.
“rhipe’s support team have been great in helping us setup our Azure environment,” says Kristanto.
“When I tried to setup our Azure environment for the first time, I was helped remotely by the rhipe support team. And although it was the weekend and our offices were closed, the rhipe team was online helping me until the evening, connecting to my laptop remotely and helping configuration. I would recommend rhipe’s support services to any service partner,” he says.

“GITS customers can contact GITS for support but we don’t offer 24 hour support like rhipe does and in any case we are not worried because we have rhipe support to assist our customers,” says Kristanto.
In addition to support services, rhipe’s Indonesian marketing team have also been on hand to assist with GITS Consulting’s go to market strategy, setup events and drive lead generation opportunities. In May 2017, rhipe collaborated with GITS Consulting to run an event showcasing the latest Microsoft CSP release to around 30 GITS Consulting’s customer attendees:
“rhipe Indonesia helped support me as a speaker [at the event] and also helped organize the invitations - now they’re helping to follow up on the leads generated. There have been five solid leads generated out of the event. Some of them are interested in Dynamics, some of them are interested in Azure, and some of them are interested in Office 365. One customer in particular has taken up Azure as a result of the event,” says Kristanto.
Looking ahead: Expanding Microsoft technical capabilities and business growth in Indonesia
With the help of rhipe, GITS Consulting plan to continue to expand their business over the next 12 months, enhancing their technical team capability and expertise in Microsoft CSP solutions. They also plan to open a new branch in Jakarta so they can provide solutions and services to their customers who have branches in Jakarta.
