Microsoft 12 Conversations – aka success as a SPLA Service Provider
The “cloud” is on a massive growth trajectory and creating new opportunities within both the business and IT world. If you are a service provider who recognised the opportunity and made a commitment to subscription services supported by licensing programs such as Microsoft SPLA then this is great news.
However, with increased opportunity comes increased competition. Creating unique or at least differentiated value is critical to avoiding the pit of commoditisation and diminishing margins.
Recognising this Microsoft have started a series of conversations around key areas that can drive value into the service provider community. Each month a new conversation takes place with the 5th conversation around the value of SQL Server 2014 Enterprise Edition happening on March 4th.
Although the discussions have a product offering to support them the conversation is about the business value.
Each conversation has a set of assets that can be used by a service provider to continue the conversation both within their own business and with their customers.
