Retirement of Public website 3rd party link from the M365 Admin centre
Microsoft will be retiring the Public website 3rd party offerings link from the Microsoft 365 Admin centre beginning July 15, 2019.
Once the link within the Admin centre is removed, administrators should work directly with their Microsoft partner or a 3rd party website provider to create and host a public website.
Microsoft will gradually roll this change out starting on July 15 2019, and the change will be completed by the end of August.
Intune App SDK support iOS update
Starting in September 2019, Intune will move to support iOS apps with Intune App SDK 8.1.1 and higher. Apps built with SDK versions less than 8.1.1 will no longer be supported. This change will go into effect with Apple’s release of iOS 13 which is expected to come around September and had also been announced in MC181399.
With Intune App SDK or App Wrapping integration, you can protect corporate data from unapproved applications and users via data encryption. The Intune App SDK for iOS will use 256-bit encryption keys by default when encryption is enabled by Intune App Protection Policies (APP). After this change, any iOS apps on SDK versions prior to 8.1.1, which use 128-bit encryption keys, will no longer be able to share data with applications integrated with SDK 8.1.1 or using the 256-bit keys. All iOS apps will need to have an SDK version 8.1.1 or higher to allow protected data sharing.
Customers must check their Microsoft, third-party and line-of-business (LOB) apps and should ensure that all applications protected with Intune APP are using SDK version 8.1.1 or later.
- For LOB apps: Customers may need to republish apps integrated with SDK version 8.1.1 or later. Microsoft recommends the latest SDK version. More information below on how to prepare LOB apps for App protection policies.
- For Microsoft/Third Party apps: Customers should ensure that they are deploying the latest version of these apps to your users.

NEW: Outlook mobile supports digital signing and email encryption with S/MIME
Outlook for iOS and Android will soon support Secure Multipurpose Internal Mail Extensions (S/MIME) to help enforce additional email message security. For customers who are using the Microsoft Sync technology (MC165218), they will be able to digitally sign and encrypt email messages as well as read S/MIME encrypted and signed messages.
This capability is in reference to the Microsoft 365 roadmap feature IDs: 32569 and 32570
Outlook mobile support for S/MIME digital signing and encryption will start to roll out no sooner than mid-July 2019 for general availability. Anyone who would like to see an early preview of Outlook for iOS with S/MIME, customers can register with the Outlook Insider program. This preview will be available at the end of June.
